Here is a sample for Australian prescribed hormones.

These should only be prescribed by your GP or Endocrinologist, you may do great damage to your body if you self-prescribe. The information below is an example only, as every person is different age, size, body makeup etc.

Prices are correct as of: April 2006, These prices can vary considerably. Purchasing them from Online Pharmacies using your prescription can save quite a bit, for example "Proscar" costed $114.95 at a Local Chemist, but at an Australian Online Pharmacy it sells for around $80.

Purchasing Hormones

To start on Hormones, you first must visit your GP who will prescribe or refer you to an Endocrinologist, they will send you away to a Pathology Lab to get Blood Tests to ensure you are suitable and healthy enough to take them.

Once you have the the prescriptions, you will need to get them filled;

This can be done by visiting your pharmacy or purchasing online. You may feel more comfortable purchasing online as someone who looks male (pre hormone) asking for HRT gets some pretty interesting looks, especially in a small town.
