Transition - the period from commencing Sex
Affirmation Treatment (SAT) to undergoing Sex Reassignment
Surgery (SRS), is when you are neither properly one sex nor
the other.
It can be as stressful, as painful and as difficult as
living with untreated GD/TS. It is like living in
limbo, not quite in hell, not yet living a normal life, your
real life. It can extremely embarrassing to appear in public
dressed as a woman, with female secondary sexual
characteristics, but with the ever-present possibility of
still being perceived as male due to residual male
attributes.
